Well the very first ever PA Sheep & Wool Festival is in the books! I think a good time was had by all! I know that I had a blast!!
There was sheep to shawl competition on Saturday Oct. 11th and that was MC’d by Rachel and Renee from Table Ten Podcast! Sunday Oct. 12th there was a youth sheep to shawl demonstration.
The fairgrounds opened their concession stand to provide food. Tickets were sold for some awesome looking baskets with goodies for any fiber enthusiast! I know I donated an 8-skein mini Solid & Swirls DK Mini Kit Set.
There were Alpaca, Sheep, Goats and great music. It may be its inception year but I see great things in store for coming years! So if you didn’t make it this year, certainly put it on your calendar for next year! I can see it growing into something that Pennsylvania and Dayton will be known for!
I personally would like to thank everyone that came out to see us, introduce themselves, show us their beautiful creations, support our small business and just show us 💗love! We wouldn’t be here without you. It’s a dream come true to have this small business that I love so much!
A huge thanks to everyone that made the PA Sheep & Wool Festival into a reality! I am truly excited to be a small part of its history in the making. To the vendors, all the hard work and preparation that goes into these events does not go unnoticed… it was so nice to see them and their creations! I couldn’t resist… and brought home a haul myself!
Thanks to my bestie and sidekick, Nan… all the little to huge things she does for me, enable me to create the yarn, fiber, samples, kits and weavings that I do! Thanks to my mom for creating my awesome project bags, and all the hard work that entails! Thanks to my family for the unconditional love and support you give me, to keep going even on my darkest days. Especially my husband and best friend, who has taken on most of the day to day burden onto himself to enable me to mess up EVERY nook and cranny of our house… which does not help my OCD.
A enormous thank you with all my heart to Rachel & Renee from Table Ten, the love, support and enthusiasm that you give me is not only contagious and uplifting it drives such a large community of wonderful, excited, loving, dedicated creators my way!
It truly fills me up, motivates me to be creative and excites me for the future of this small business that I love so much! My only wish is that it shows in my work how much I love all of you!
