News on the preorder “Cleared for Takeoff” shawl kits!

I just wanted to give an update to everyone on the shawl kits! First and foremost, if you’ve ordered one…. I just want to say thank you soooo much!!! Your support has been overwhelming!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am diligently working on them day and night, literally through the night some nights until the early am hours…. I’ve had sooo much fun! As each one finishes, it gets washed and thwacked and dried and the minute it’s dry I create the tracking number and attach that to your order! If you have not gotten your tracking number yet… know that you are in the “que” in the order it was received, and will go out in the same order and they are working out beautifully!!! It does take time, but I hope you find that it will be totally worth the wait!!!

Lastly, I do want to say a little about the care of your shawl as you finish, before everyone gets to the blocking stage. When you go to block it, I always put Hand Wash Cold• Lay Flat To Dry, but I always recommend a color catcher sheet as well. I always wash and rinse all yarn until I do not see color any longer! However just to be on the safe side, the color catcher sheet is a nice precaution to keep your white yarn bright! I buy mine at Walmart up the laundry soap and softener aisle.
