Hand dyed each skein is uniquely different.
Hand spun yarn is especially unique, it varies in weight due to its loftiness and general squishy goodness.  So I list a variety of sizes it can be used as, but try to get it as close and consistent as possible.
I always use professional quality acid dyes. 
There may be a small amount of dye bleeding in the first few washes, but this will not affect the color of your yarn. 
Each skein is hand dyed in small batches of 2-4, which makes each one vary from skein to skein. I suggest that you alternate skeins every few rows when doing a project that requires multiple skeins.
